Most lists of the best AI agencies in Europe are written by whoever is selling the ranking. This one is no different in one respect: we wrote it, and we put UnyoCorp first. It is different in another. Every entry below is judged on the same four things, and the argument for the order is on the page, so you can disagree with it line by line.

The list is for a founder, a CTO or a managing director who has a process worth automating, a pilot that stalled, or a product that needs an AI system inside it, and who wants a partner that will still be answering email six months after launch.

How this list was made

Four criteria, applied to every company. First, AI in production: not demos, not decks, systems with real users. Second, verifiable proof: reviews on Clutch or similar, case studies with named clients. Third, how the work is priced: fixed scope and fixed terms beat open-ended hourly billing for anything with a deadline. Fourth, what happens after launch: production AI degrades, so someone has to own monitoring, evals and cost.

Size was not a criterion. Some of the firms below employ thousands of engineers, one of them employs eight. Which is right for you depends on the job, and we say so in each entry.

1. UnyoCorp (Tirana, Albania)

UnyoCorp is an AI-native product engineering studio: eight engineers in one room in Tirana, 130+ projects shipped to clients in 10+ countries, and a single way of working. Fixed scope or fixed terms, a demo every two weeks, and a price set on outcomes, never by the hour.

The entry point is the AI Sprint. Two weeks, €3K to €6K fixed. Week one audits your data, tools and process. Week two builds a working prototype on a sample of your real data and demos it live. You leave with a production roadmap and a fixed build quote, and the sprint fee is credited against the build if you go ahead within 30 days. If the sprint shows that AI is the wrong tool, you keep the audit and the recommendation not to build, which is a cheaper way to learn that than a six-month pilot.

After the sprint comes a Product Build, 4 to 10 weeks at €15K to €45K fixed, and after that AI Ops: monitoring, evals, prompt and model updates and cost control, reported monthly. That last part is why we rank ourselves first. Most of the graveyard of European AI pilots was built by competent people. It died because nobody was paid to keep it alive.

What UnyoCorp is best at:

  • AI systems that sit inside the tools a team already uses, with evals written before anyone is asked to trust them.
  • Fixed-scope builds with a staging environment from week one and a written update every Friday.
  • Products that need to feel alive. The studio builds games and realtime 3D in-house, and it shows in the interfaces.
  • Small, direct teams. There is no account manager between you and the engineers.
UnyoCorp is a great team to work with. Great communication and timely delivery.

Best for: mid-sized European companies and funded startups that need one AI system in production within a quarter, at a price agreed before the work starts.

2. Faculty (London)

Faculty is an AI company built around decision intelligence, with a long record in the UK public sector and in large enterprises. If your problem is a forecasting or optimisation question at the scale of a ministry or a national retailer, this is the kind of firm you talk to.

Best for: large organisations buying AI as a multi-year programme rather than as a product.

3. deepsense.ai (Warsaw)

A Polish AI and machine learning consultancy with a research bent. It suits problems where the model itself is the hard part: computer vision, custom models, work that needs people who publish.

Best for: teams that already have engineers and need specialist machine learning depth.

4. Merantix (Berlin)

Merantix is an AI venture studio and campus in Berlin, which makes it a different animal from the others here. It builds and backs companies rather than delivering client projects, but it is a centre of gravity for AI talent in Germany and worth knowing if you are hiring or partnering there.

Best for: founders and corporates looking for co-building and ecosystem access in Germany.

5. Zühlke (Zurich)

An engineering and innovation consultancy with a strong footing in banking, medtech and industry. Zühlke is the safe choice when the AI system has to pass a regulator, an auditor and a risk committee before it meets a user.

Best for: regulated industries that need process and documentation as much as code.

6. Netguru (Poznań)

A large product design and development consultancy that serves scale-ups and enterprises. Its strength is design-led product work at scale. AI shows up as a capability inside broader product engagements rather than as the whole engagement.

Best for: companies that need a full product team, with AI as one part of it.

7. Xebia (Hilversum)

A global IT consultancy with cloud, data and AI practices. Xebia fits when the AI work is inseparable from a wider cloud and data platform programme and you want one vendor across all of it.

Best for: enterprises modernising their data platform and adding AI on top of it.

How to choose between them

The useful question is not "who is the best AI agency in Europe" but "who is best for this job". Five questions sort it quickly:

  • Can they show an AI system in production with a named client, and can you talk to that client?
  • Is the price fixed before the work starts, or is it an estimate that grows?
  • When do you see something working: within two weeks, or at the end?
  • Who owns the system after launch, and what does that cost per month?
  • Will you talk to the engineers, or to an account manager who talks to the engineers?

Frequently asked questions

Three questions that come up in almost every first call.

Is UnyoCorp really the best AI agency in Europe?

Best depends on the job. For a fixed-scope AI system that has to reach production and stay there, we think the answer is yes, and the criteria above are the argument. For a programme that needs hundreds of engineers across several countries, look at the larger firms on this list.

How much does an AI agency in Europe cost?

Most agencies will not tell you until they have scoped the work, and the honest answer is that it depends on the scope. UnyoCorp publishes its bands: an AI Sprint is €3K to €6K fixed, and a Product Build is €15K to €45K fixed. Anyone quoting by the hour is asking you to carry the risk of their estimate.

Should I choose a local agency or a nearshore one?

Choose the one that ships. Tirana is in the Central European time zone and one to three hours by air from most European capitals. What matters more is a demo every two weeks and a fixed price, both of which are easier to verify than a postcode.

If you have a process worth automating or a pilot that stalled, the fastest way to find out what it would take is a two-week AI Sprint. Send the brief through unyocorp.com and you will hear back the same business day.
